Photo ID's used for voting identity

I live in a state where we have had a lot of voter fraud going on such as felons voting and dead people placing votes. The governor has veto a bill that would require voters to show a photo ID before they voted. He says that it disenfranchises the poor and elderly people. The bill addressed this by letting the less fortunate to receive free of charge photo ID's. The strange thing is this is the same governor that recently signed a bill requiring people who want to buy cold medicine to show a photo id before purchasing the medicine. This makes absolutely NO sense. He is up for re-election in 2006. I hope he doesn't get re-elected to destroy our voting system anymore.

Sounds like my state of Wisconsin where Jim Doyle is doing the same thing here. He's a democrat and they just don't think fraud is a big deal. They almost want fraud to happen so they can get votes. The democratic party in Wisconsin is really corrupt. The democrats slashed tires of republican vans during the 2004 elections. Talk about a disgusting party.
